(Asian News Hub) – The United Kingdom (UK) reported 93,045 new COVID-19 cases and 111 deaths on Friday (Dec. 17), raising the country’s all-time total to 11,190,354 cases (384,287,490 tests) with 147,048 deaths. That’s 163,589 cases and 2,150 deaths observed per 1 million people.
For the third day in a row, the UK reported its highest number of new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours since the beginning of the pandemic.
Roughly 70% of the UK population is estimated to be “fully vaccinated”.
